006-052 Filigree Heartby *sweetmarly

(10 Feb 2013) Week 6 of my 52 week challenge and in time for Valentine's Day, a very simple filigree heart. It's nothing special, just doodling more than anything. First drawn with graphite and then a red fine tipped sharpie gel pen.

There are 12 little hearts in the big one. 12 is usually the number one receives in roses or in chocolates. So there, a simple heart for the 14th of February. No reference photos used on this one. I couldn't find anything I liked so I doodled.

this one is very nice - having a clear definition yet without defined edge. You've cleverly filled in between the small hearts with you're large one. The difference in the sizes of shapes helps provide accent to the small hearts

that looked like a fun one.
